Rex is committed to empowering nurses. He agrees nurses should be paid more. He believes the nurses and the patients they care for deserve it. With his wife working as a nurse, and his two children requiring an abundant amount of hospital care in the first years of their lives, Rex experienced first hand, the facilities struggle to staff nurses from the perspective of the patient and perspective of the family member of the nurse. It was after that experience, along with his wife Simone, Rex decided to open up NurseX Corporation and revamp how nurses can connect with clients in Canada.
Simone Jannetta RNBN
Co-founder
Simone received her Baccalaureate of Nursing in 2013. She has since gained 9 years of Emergency department experience. Simone also has over 2 years experience working in a variety of settings including orthopedic, general and post acute neuro surgical units, acute and chronic medicine, palliative care and nursing telecare. Spending the majority of her time working on the front lines, Simone has seen the intense struggle to maintain adequate staffing ratios to provide safe patient care and has chosen to be part of an innovative strategy to change the way nurses work and fill shifts in Canada.
